Microneedling Rituals

Microneedling for skin renewal

Microneedling with Xcellaris Pro Twist by Dermaroller GmbH

What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a well-established form of collagen induction therapy. Fine, sterile needles create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin. Your skin responds by starting its natural repair process, renewing collagen fibres and strengthening elastin. Over a course of treatments, this gradually improves how your skin looks and feels.

Who benefits most, and why?
Microneedling works by prompting your skin to rebuild itself, which is why it suits concerns linked to collagen loss or damage:

  • Premature ageing and fine lines: renewed collagen helps smooth and plump the skin
  • Mature skin with laxity, wrinkles and enlarged pores: stronger collagen and elastin support firmness and refine texture
  • Acne scarring: the controlled repair response helps soften the appearance of scars
  • Sun-damaged skin: helps improve skin affected by years of UV exposure
  • Other scarring, including stretch marks and burn scars

It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté and hands, and the body can be treated too. Treatment protocols for hair restoration are also available.

Our device: the XCellaris PRO Twist
I use the XCellaris PRO Twist, made by the manufacturers of Dermaroller, who have over 20 years’ experience in microneedling. It’s a class IIa medical device with the latest motor-powered technology, and it’s fully customisable, so needle depth, speed and intensity are tailored precisely to your skin and concerns. It gives me real confidence in the experience and results my clients receive.

A hydrating, collagen-supporting serum is applied during treatment and carried deeper into the skin through the micro-channels, which close quickly afterwards.

Your treatment
After a thorough consultation and skin analysis, your skin is cleansed and prepared. The microneedling is followed by a soothing hyaluronic acid mask to calm the skin and lock in moisture, then Dermalux LED light therapy to support healing and recovery.

Yes, with maintenance sessions and good skincare, results can be kept up long term.
